Homemade Christmas Dessert Gifts

I can’t believe Christmas is in a week!  Like me, I’m sure there are some of you out there that are a part of that elite group of people who wait until the very last minute to purchase Christmas gifts. If I’ve just described you, I have some cool, easy gift ideas for you! Take a peek below to check out a few homemade dessert gifts that won’t break your bank. You can thank me later.

1) Homemade Bread

I love making breakfast breads and I think they make the perfect Christmas gifts.

What you’ll need to package your gift:

Large cellophane gift bags from your local craft store

Ribbon or twine

Stickers

Great Bread Recipe( You can alter my peach bread recipe by using a fall fruit)

2) White Hot Chocolate Mix

I love this recipe from Cooking Light for spiced White Hot Chocolate. You provide a few essentials for the recipe and a copy of the recipe and you’re all set!

What you will need:

White Chocolate Chips

Vanilla Bean

Whole Nutmeg *Optional, but a cool add in and can be purchased in the spice section in your local market

Jar *I purchased my jars from the Dollar Store or you can use a mason jar

Ribbon

Recipe attached to the jar via a sticker or nice piece of card stock

3) Homemade Caramel Sauce

A great recipe for caramel sauce can be found on My Baking Addiction’s website.

What you will need:

Mason Jar

Ribbon

Which gift idea will you try? Do share!

Great recommendations for last minute Christmas gifts. These just may help late blooming Christmas shoppers like myself *hangs head*, but it is truly the thought that counts. Oh and that fact that each of them are sweet is a plus! Thanks for sharing all of them with us!

Thanks Santresa! I’m late too. I’ve only purchased a few gift cards and a few gifts for myself. 🙂 I know, horrible. Let me know if you make any of these gifts! Merry Christmas!
